Speakers:
Juanita Skillman, CRM, FAI, is the President of the Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM), the certifying body for the Certified Records Manager Credential. She retired last year from the Orange County Sanitation District, where she was the Records Management Specialist. Her professional career also included Records Management Consulting and developing Records Management Programs for both public and private organizations. Prior to entering the Records and Information Management field, she was a Public School Teacher and Librarian.
Ms. Skillman holds both B.S. and M.A. degrees from Western New Mexico University and received her Certified Records Manager (CRM) designation in 1986. She is a Past President of ARMA International, and served on the Board of Trustees for the ARMA International Educational Foundation for seven years. She was Regent for Legislation and Appeals for the Board of Regents of the Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM) before her election to the position of President Elect in 2011.
An experienced speaker and trainer, she is a long time member of Toastmasters International and speaks frequently for ARMA and other business and professional groups.
Scott Murchison, CRM, is a Certified Records Manager and has over 20 years of experience in Records and Information Management as a Practitioner and Consultant. He has worked in a variety of industries including government, financial services, insurance, legal, construction, manufacturing, airline, hospitality, and entertainment sectors. Scott is a founding partner of Kaizen InfoSource LLC, a full service information management and technology consultancy. He has built successful RIM Programs from the ground up, moving from paper to digital, gaining recognition of senior management, and turning lackluster departments into system-wide compliance initiatives.
Scott has been an active member of ARMA International since 1992 and has served various board positions within local chapters from Metropolitan New York, to Greater Los Angeles, Golden Gate, Silicon Valley and Memphis/Mid-South Chapters.
Rayanne Waggoner, CRM is currently the Corporate Records Manager for Apple Inc. Prior to joining Apple, Rayanne was the supervisor over Records Management, Forms Control and the Interim Records Center at Lockheed Missiles & Space Company in Sunnyvale, CA.
Rayanne has been a Certified Records Manager since 2001. She is currently the Regent – Certification Maintenance. She has also served as the Regent – Exam Administration in 2005 – 2009.
Rayanne has been a member of ARMA since the early 1970’s and has served on the Golden Gate and Silicon Valley Chapters. She is currently the Treasurer for the Silicon Valley Chapter.
Marti Fischer, CRM, FAI, ermm. an Operational Risk Consultant for Wells Fargo Bank in the bank’s Corporate Records Management Office. Among other responsibilities, she administers and updates the Corporate Retention Schedule and works with the Law Department to create and maintain Legal Holds on physical and electronic records.
Marti has over 31 years of records management experience. Previous positions include Consulting Services for Iron Mountain, Records Manager for the Bank of California (now Union Bank) and Records Librarian for the law firm of Morrison & Foerster.
Marti holds a Bachelors Degree in History from Mills College and a Masters Degree in Library Science from the University of California, Berkeley. She became a CRM in 1984. She was inducted into the Company of Fellows of ARMA International in October of 2000. She received her Electronic Records Management Masters Certificate from AIIM in March of 2008.
Susan B. Whitmire, CRM, FAI is a Certified Records Manager and has a 30 year career in records and information management in the insurance industry. She joined BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee in 2006. Her experience includes RIM program development and implementation and delivering solutions for electronic records management and email management.
She has been an active member of ARMA International since 1978, has held various chapter/region/industry positions including serving on the ARMA International Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees for the ARMA International Educational Foundation. Susan earned her Certified Records Manager (CRM) designation in January 1995 and was inducted into the ARMA International Company of Fellows in 2009 as Fellow number 42.
